Welcome to… Welcome Back!

WBWCT was formed to show the love of Christ to all newly released ex-offenders, especially the ones in Erath, Hood, Palo Pinto, Parker, Stephens, and Wise County.

Once released from a TDCJ facility, if on parole, a parolee must attend an orientation class at the District Parole Office that they were assigned to. The district we cover includes Erath, Hood, Palo Pinto, Parker, Stephens, and Wise Counties. The District Office for these counties is located in Mineral Wells.

WBWCT has the privilege of conducting the first hour of this orientation class where we hand out and explain our “Resource Booklet” by each county.

The first part of this booklet has a list of Churches (by county) that we have visited and have expressed to us that they would love to have these returning citizens attend their church. They also provided us a contact name and phone number for them to call to get more information.

The next part of the booklet has “other resources”, where they can get all kinds of assistance for health care, transportation, clothing, groceries, job training and much more. WBWCT does not list a resource unless we have personally visited them first.

After that, we cover things like getting a driver's license, birth certificate, and social security card, with forms and information they may need.
